The 12 Week Challenge

My boss' cousin is doing this 12 week photography challenge on her blog so I decided I otta take a stab at it. The fist topic is "self portrait". Here is what I came up with. Some are simple and straight forward others are a little more artsy and deep. I'd love to hear any thoughts!

The next topic is "jumping". I'll post what I come up with. Wish me luck:) bye bye. -bb

it's the little things.

It's the little things in life that remind me each day that I'm alive. They remind me to wake up in the morning and start my day off with a kiss from my hubby and his smelly morning breath. Each day is a gift and sometimes I get way too caught up in my day to day things I don't even realize what a wonderful life I have. 

It's about the little things my friends...It's coming home to a clean house, laundry done and Chance doing the dishes with a big smile on his face. It's watching our tuesday night show together. It's going to dinner with a dear friend and talking for hours about the future. It's rolling out of bed before the sun is up and throwing those running shoes on. It's long hot baths. It's looking down at that left hand and seeing that most perfect ring that he designed just for me. It's holding my camera and seeing the world through a different eye. It's sunflowers in the summertime. It's vintage swimsuits. It's hawaii where I spent a summer with friends and my honeymoon. It's the song we wrote together and singing it to our adoptive family. It's cabin trips with my family with the fire burning and the fall leaves. It's high heels and jeans. It's my grandpa and grandma holding hands. It's hearing him sing from down the hall. It's Jack's new album. 

It's a lot of things, a lot of little things that make my life so amazing. I can't wait for things to come. To move to China, see the world, to grow closer to my man, to have babies with him and eventually have grandbabies. It's all about that moment when he picks me up and he kisses me. That moment when he writes a new song about me and is dying to sing it. That moment when life makes sense. 

Let love blind you of what will come and live each moment to the fullest. Just a little post about the little things. Enjoy y'all.

Okay, so this is a bit much. Here is a mash up of the last of our summer. I did it in one post! If you get bored stop looking. haha I'm a picture taker so kill me! This one is for my second father who claims I suck at updating my blog, sorry I have a life Jim! okay not really.

Well first off we went to Music Man at the festival and the prophet was there!:)

yep kids that's the big man! he was so cute, what a cool experience that was!

Chance got me tickets to Jack's Mannequin! I just can't tell you how much I love this band....wow. Chance knows me all too well!

Lauren had her baby, yeah my most wonderful friend has a child! what the. well folks I'm un uncle now! :)

 Then we went to Lake Powell, here are some pics of us in the boat because we got caught in a huge rain storm! That's when you wonder if camping was the best idea....but man we had a blast!

 STACI IS GETTING MARRIED! So the girls decided to take her down to Mesquite:) we had so much fun! love these girls!

 I promise I'm not prego, it's the shirt! and a way bad angle! maybe I ate too much at dinner? to sum it up...no bun in the oven! haha

Okay that's it! please don't stop reading my blog because of this post! well we enjoyed our summer and aren't too excited for winter but we will make the best of it! Life is good, life is great, life is wonderful! until next time...
